Tell us about yourself

Ten years ago, I retrained after a particularly low period of my life. I found I was creative in ways I hadn't realized, and I found flowers! They are my lifeline, and they are the reason I get up in the morning. Every single day is entirely different, and everything we create is a reflection of someone's emotions. It's not a job; it's more often a privilege to serve our clients.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Celebrating 10 years! And now launching our own career course to help and inspire the next upcoming floral generation.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Wearing all the hats - Social media manager, payroll, logistics, bucket scrubber, and florist!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Begin with a plan. Sounds boring, but write out your dreams, set them as goals, and plan a direction. I think so many people start with all their dreams and ambitions but no plan.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Never feel that there is no room in the market for you. There is always room. There is plenty to go around. And people buy people, so show up and make yourself known as your business :)
