What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a certified microblading artist. I help women (and men) bring life back to their brows! Whether they have over-plucked, lost hair, have sparse, patchy brows, or just need a little filling in. Microblading can fix any of those problems.

I blade tiny strokes into your brow that perfectly resemble the rest of the hairs. I choose a pigment that matches your own brows so that you can't even tell what is real and what isn't.

Tell us about yourself

I've always believed that brows make your face. So when I got mine microbladed for the first time a few years ago, it changed my life! Gave me the arches I dreamed about. They were perfect and ready to go straight out of bed. No filling them in and trying to match them up. I was literally blown away by how much of a difference microblading made to my life. I wanted other women to be able to experience the happiness that it brought me. I wanted to give that to them. So I did tons of research, found the best trainer possible, took the course, and have never looked back.

Being able to make my own hours, be proud of my work, and really enjoy what I get paid to do every day is an amazing feeling. Making people feel happy with themselves motivates me to do and be the very best I can be every day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having my clients reach out to me and tell me how much their new brows have literally changed their lives. There's nothing better than helping someone feel confident in their skin.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

When you're in the business of tattooing people's faces, you must be 100% on point at all times. There is no room for error. So when one tiny little hair stroke doesn't turn out exactly the way you wanted it, you literally lose sleep over it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Just do it! You'll never get anywhere if you don't at least try.
2. Trust yourself. If you know you are good at something and you are passionate about it, you will succeed.
3. Be prepared to put in the social media time. Social Media is the number one marketer for small businesses, and if you put in the work with it, it will be your best tool.
