What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tell us about yourself

I'm a former social worker and mental health professional who followed her dreams and became a full-time entrepreneur over the last 16 years. I'm a life, relationship, and business coach, Reiki Master/Teacher, and Keynote Speaker who fuses mental health + holistic wellness + spiritual well-being.

My clients and the organizations and people I serve to inspire me! I have helped people who are ready to share their brilliance and their unique greatness with the world. They want Divine Direction. They want to live in the flow of both passion and purpose. They want to follow their heart, ignite their brilliance, achieve their greatness, stand fully in their power and give themselves permission to be who they really are. They want to break open, be free and pull out that untapped potential. They have a yearning, burning desire for something more. And they want to live in unstoppable power and fall madly in love with themselves. And there's such magic that pours out of them when they give themselves permission to be the person they desire to be. Who they were born to be.

They turn their pain into greatness and move from where they are to where they want to be because not only can they chart the course, but now they know every knot, every decimal, every nook, and cranny. They know that every movement will get them there, and even when they don't know, they've broken free of needing to know everything. Of trying to control the things, they can't control. These are the men and women that I am called to work with, and these are the ways I have helped them truly live their best life. What could be better?

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Many would probably say my work on The Real Housewives of Potomac servicing as Karen & Ray's life and relationship Coach or speaking about soulful self-care for major organizations like Paypal. But I would say my biggest accomplishment is being a first-generation entrepreneur with no guide, no plan, and no real support initially and navigating this world in pursuit of living my dreams and creating a successful business that makes an impact and changes lives for the better.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things I experienced was finding what works for me when everyone has an opinion or a system they believe in but doesn't necessarily work for you and the vision you have for your life and business. I had to have the faith and the confidence to believe in myself and know that not only do I deserve my dreams, but I was more than capable of achieving them regardless of whatever life threw my way! I also had to determine where I needed help and create a team that could help me bring my vision to life.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your inner work just as much as you focus on business. Your unhealed experiences and traumas will sabotage your business success and leave you feeling unfulfilled even when you accomplish your greatest goals.
  2. Get help! Do not try to do it alone. None of us reach success by ourselves. Get a coach, a community, join a mastermind, and create a team.
  3. Don't allow perfectionism to stifle your dreams. You're not perfect, nor are you expected to be. You will fail over and over. The goal is to pick yourself back up, learn from your mistakes and keep taking action.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

Take the time to get to know yourself, heal and figure out what your soul wants, not what you think you should want or what everyone else tells you to value. Be committed to living your life with purpose and passion. And believe in the possibilities and hold tight to your dreams even when most people give up or never even get started. Believe in yourself so much that you can't give up even when you want to, even when nothing seems like it's working.
