Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in photography but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Aurore Delsoir, Owner of Aurore Delsoir Photography, located in Brussels, Belgium.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
My name is Aurore Delsoir. I am a professional photographer specialising in visual communication for entrepreneurs. I work with passionate men and women who want to communicate about their business and their specificity in a unique and authentic way.
Tell us about yourself
Fifteen years spent in the world of communication have allowed me to develop a great ability to listen to a company's expectations and a brand's needs. Through discussion and observation, I bring out their passion and help them to truly express who they are in front of the lens in addition to what they do. This listening and looking allow them to truly express who they are in front of the camera as well as what they do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I have been employed for 15 years. I am proud that I was able to take the step to become independent and run my own business.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Saying no to projects that do not inspire me.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Do what you really want to do.
- Do it in the best way possible.
- Do it with a smile.
