What's your business, and who are your customers?
At Audax, we work with and invest in entrepreneurs around the world to support the launch, growth, and exit of their companies. We do this by providing coaching, business plan & pitch deck writing, market support, software development, and raising capital services. Additionally, we just launched an online course called 'Zero to a Million' that provides 37 lessons of videos, downloadable resources, and workbooks that guide entrepreneurs on everything they need to know to start and scale a company. Any student of our course will also receive a discount on all of our Audax services. Our customers are entrepreneurs at any stage who are looking to start or scale their businesses.
Tell us about yourself
I am an entrepreneur myself, having built and sold multiple businesses. I have a passion for working with other entrepreneurs to help bring their vision to life and grow their companies. I am motivated to continue to build great companies that make a difference and help others accomplish their goals.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment would be having built and sold a business that was North American-wide. I have been fortunate to build great companies and work with talented people to make a strong impact.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
As an entrepreneur, you need to be resilient. Being an entrepreneur is not always easy and takes a lot of hard work. Part of that is being able to bounce back when things get tough or challenges come your way, especially when starting and growing a new company. It is difficult at times to stay positive but you have to have a strong entrepreneurial mindset to push forwards and continue to innovate.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start small, grow big! Don't be afraid to think big but be strategic about how you get there.
- An entrepreneurial mindset of resilience, controlling self-doubt, accountability and thinking differently is key to success
- Entrepreneurs need the creativity to question, the strength to believe and the courage to move. Be persistent and work hard!
