What's your business, and who are your customers?

We sell high-quality fashion jewelry, gorgeous fine jewelry, and one of one clothing pieces that are handmade in Toronto. We have an amazing clientele that ranges from young professionals to established women who are looking for unique pieces. We love being a women-run business with a storefront because we get to meet our customers one on one and create beautiful layered looks that enhance each individual's personal style.

Tell us about yourself

I am a born entrepreneur with a bubbling, creative spirit. I love designing and curating pieces that make getting dressed exciting. Accessories can change a whole look, so it's important that we design pieces that are not only beautiful but also high quality. We want people to feel confident that their jewelry can keep up even if they never take it off.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Running a storefront and a brand for ten years has not been easy, but I love a good challenge. I think finding growth in the last two years has been a huge accomplishment.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being a self-funded woman-owned business has its challenges. I also pride myself in building a brand on quality and not fast fashion. We do our best to create pieces that are beautiful and sustainable, which is something that has been a part of our mission since day one.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Stay focused.
  2. Stay true to your mission.
  3. Failure doesn't exist; giving up does. Never give up; just slow down.
