What's your business, and who are your customers?

Ariel Taub is a luxury fashion and bridal accessory brand designed specifically for the modern woman who craves elegant and unique pieces. The brand consists of clutches, jewelry, veils, and other couture accessories, which are made with the highest quality brilliant cut crystals, and are handcrafted in our Michigan-based studio.

Tell us about yourself

After graduating from Parsons New School of Design, I went on to build my accessory brand in hopes of providing clients with glamorous, timeless pieces intricately crafted by hand. Dedicated to creating high-quality, American-made products, I specialize in crystal work and meticulously place each individual gem by hand to create collections that sparkle and are modern. Seeing customers and celebrities wear my pieces every day or for their wedding day truly is what motivates me to continue doing what I love - designing.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is having my pieces sold in over 40 boutiques throughout the United States.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The hardest thing is to work tireless hours in order to create a successful business. To push through when times are tough in order to come out the other side.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Never stop believing in yourself.
  2. Be patient; to grow a business takes time.
  3. Follow your dreams.
