What's your business, and who are your customers?
I have a small beauty business in Halifax, offering esthetic services. The setting is cozy and friendly. Clients are down-to-earth and easy-going, from teens to retirees. Stay-at-home moms to world travelers. Grateful for everyone.
Tell us about yourself
I have been in the cosmetology industry for almost 20 years. My parents motivated me to open my own business. I appreciate their help. I enjoy going to the shop and spending my days with wonderful people.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am thankful for the friendships that I have made over the years.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Finances. Of course, that is one of the hardest parts of running a business. Especially the last few years; however, keep your chin up and remember tomorrow is a new day.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
