What's your business, and who are your customers?
We private label and manufacture the best sourced natural pet treats in the USA and South America. We also specialize in high-quality, custom, eco-friendly pet accessories: Leashes, Collars, and Harnesses. Our customers are people who try to promote and live healthy lifestyles for themselves and, most importantly, pets. Our trademarked brand started from less than $1,500 selling five products on amazon.com in 2017 to eventually growing into more than 30 retail stores with over 30 products, all produced by one person who is top management throughout the entire supply chain.
Tell us about yourself
The first dog I got at the animal shelter - Butch- inspired me to start the K9 CARNIVORE brand/business.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having a growth and proven success in both the brick/mortar retail stores as well as in e-commerce selling K9 CARNIVORE pet products.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Managing time and the resources you have available. Staying focused and managing short-term as well as long-term goals. Too many ideas with too little time to try and execute all of them. Managing all the ups and downs as well as the unknowns.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Do something you are passionate about. Learn from your mistakes and always try to improve. Expect to succeed ultimately, but don't be afraid to fail. Stay mentally tough.
