What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an artist who paints for anyone! My customers are people who love me and who love art! It's so much fun!
Tell us about yourself
I got motivated by someone close to me at the time in 2015. They saw my artwork and told me it was too good to not show anyone! I didn't think much of my art before someone I loved gave it that true value. Since that day, I have been putting smiles on people's faces through art on a larger scale, and it's been phenomenal. Knowing I can make people happy through my talent is what drives me. I love spreading joy!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has had nothing to do with finances. I'm successful because I make people happy. That's something rare. A lot of people do things for money, and I've always distributed my work for joy.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me with being a business owner is making great financial decisions. At times, I want to spread joy so badly that I don't give myself the opportunity to get paid what I deserve.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be yourself. People buy your products firstly because they like you and think you're a great person. You may be selling through a platform where they don't meet you in person, yet you should always allow your personality to shine.
- Devote yourself to your business. Push forward to receive results and rewards. It's so easy to give up, but with passion and dedication, you can go very far!
- Talk to people! Always go out and network. Tell your friends and family what you do and ask them to spread the news! Share on social channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram! People love photos, so share, share, share!
