What's your business, and who are your customers?
We offer speech therapy to children, teens, and adults with communication disorders online and in person.
Tell us about yourself
I'm trained as a Speech Language Pathologist, but I previously worked in the humanitarian and community field. I opened a speech therapy communication as a way to focus on one part of humanitarian issues, the right to communicate freely. My clients and team motivate me to keep improving our company, services, and impact.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We are the biggest (geographically) speech therapy company in Canada. We currently have 12 clinic locations between Ontario and British Columbia and offer online therapy to most provinces and territories.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Always being the one that is ultimately responsible.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Dream big, start one step at a time, and invest in good people on your team.
