What's your business, and who are your customers?

A boutique-style gourmet goods market, we sell everything from local Organic honey and jams, Spices from around the world to all the makings for an amazing Charcuterie board. Our customers are anybody local who appreciates the finer things in life.

Tell us about yourself

I was motivated to open this business to fulfill a huge lack of similar products in my City, as well as enjoy the creativity of curating the items; being a former chef, my passion for food has stayed vibrant. Always new and fun products to share!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When tragedy struck, and the store was burned by an arsonist, with the help of the community, we reopened 12 weeks later in a new location!

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Juggling all the tasks necessary, letting go and getting help….and teaching training/standards!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Quality customer service is everything!! Listen to their requests.
  2. Paying for a bookkeeper and marketing person is really worth it; it lightens your (heavy) load.
  3. Consistency is super important!
