What's your business, and who are your customers?

At Disruptive Partners, we create inclusive spaces for senior education leaders and c-suite executives of organizations to be human, challenge self-limiting beliefs, gain clarity, and reconnect with all the dimensions of their authentic selves. I support the well-being of purpose-driven leaders so they can take care of the people, families, and communities they serve. Here's a link to my current services.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

When I was 15, my mother was diagnosed with cancer; when I was 18, she passed away at 39. My high teachers, leaders, and community wrapped their arms around me. I promised to one day return and do the same for others. In 2021, I returned and led efforts to bring $750K to the very same school district I graduated from, live in, and now have children attending school, as seen in this AJC article here.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Finishing things, lol!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know the people you serve.
  2. Finance as the Foundation (grow business credit early).
  3. Impact & Purpose, Over Profits (great service will bring profits), but profits won't retain customers.
