What's your business, and who are your customers?
Integrative Medicine helps patients achieve optimal health with a root cause approach to health and healing. The goal is to provide highly personalized care to enhance every aspect of patients' wellness.
Tell us about yourself
I have practiced Urgent Care & Family Medicine x 17+ Years. I realized that for patients (including myself), there had to be a better way to heal aside from taking pharmaceuticals daily. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's and used Integrative medicine to control my symptoms. This led me to open my own Integrative Medicine practice so I could help others like myself on their healing journey.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping patients heal their medical conditions and feel better through nutrition, lifestyle changes, and natural remedies.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Trying different marketing avenues and seeing which ones work. Some will work, and some will fail. You have to decide what works best for you and your business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Try every avenue for marketing and exposure for business. Don't give up. Keep trying until you find something that works for you!
- Invest in your business via SEO and other marketing. Creating your own website is not enough. Patients have to be able to find you!
- Make sure every single phone call is picked up! If you don't pick up a phone call, you have already lost that patient as they will move on to the next business that picks up that call.
