What's your business, and who are your customers?
Our vision at Amma Earth is to support people to live more meaningful life with no limits. Bringing awareness to the importance of uplifting each other is part of our mission. We aim to build a community of never-ending growth through self-expression, meditation, yoga, art, energy work, collaborations, and healing practices. In an attempt to form this community, we are honored to work with a diverse mix of creators. Through our work, we have built a safe space where we can all play the role of both teacher and student. Tell us about yourself
My name is Grace Panian. I am the founder of Amma Earth. In my earlier years of life, I had no passion. I was extremely insecure, and, for some reason, I thought I wasn't creative. Nowadays, all those feelings have fallen. Not to say there aren't challenging or uncertain moments, but that's it. They are simply moments that pass. Yoga, meditation, energy, expressing myself, and connecting with others are the loves of my life. I teach Yoga, Meditation, host/organize events, retreats, and workshops. Through my work, I hope to support others to connect to their center — the space of purpose that helps to create the life you want. I am a lifelong student. Every person, experience, or situation, whether light or dark, is an opportunity to reflect on what you learned. My dream is to live according to my rhythm, purpose, and meaning while uplifting others to do the same.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I love many, many parts of my work, but my biggest accomplishment so far is collaborating with Marissa Prill in organizing an event called the Creator’s Fair that host three times a year. This a special gathering bringing healing, arts, & crafts together. Our mission is to support local businesses while connecting as a community. It’s a beautiful experience, and it’s free to the public. Our next one is on 4/23/23 anyone and everyone is welcome!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
It took me some time to figure out taxes, LLCs, working subcontractors, waivers, etc. There are many free resources provided that have helped me along my way to understanding the logistics of owning a business. I am still learning as I go!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Find what you're passionate about, believe in yourself and take action ASAP!
