What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is AmieArtistry! One-stop beauty shop, & my clients are anyone who likes to be able to feel their best with minimum effort. We are all on the go, so why not help save some time off that morning routine? I do anything from lash extensions and tooth gems to permanent cosmetics & eyebrow waxing + tinting!

Tell us about yourself

I'm absolutely in love with what I do & being able to help people gain a new sense of confidence with them when they leave the door. Bringing out those qualities that might get overlooked into the light and allow people the chance to get out of bed and feel like a million bucks.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Having done everything from scratch, no support, assistance, or handouts. & This October being three years in business :-)

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Time management, having a balance for everything. Make sure you're prioritizing your business, but make sure you still have time to show love to those people in your corner, yourself, & others making time for little things, like cleaning your house and doing your laundry.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Faith over fear, always. If no one else is gonna believe in you, you better make sure you know that you believe in yourself.
  2. It's okay to fail as long as you learn what NOT to do and not repeat those mistakes. You'll always at least be 1% better.
  3. Do something you love or are passionate about. Put the work in. If you aren't in love with it, it simply won't work. You can't fake the funk.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I'm a perfectionist and love being able to express myself through my work!
