What's your business, and who are your customers?
AMAZ is a startup built around Regenerative Agroforestry and the support of biodiversity in the Amazon Rainforest. We are on a mission to create positive change in the Amazon Rainforest, a vital part of the global climate system. The way we do that is through the creation of delicious, functional beverages that also contribute to the regeneration of our planet and the wellness of the people. Our target customer is health-Conscious, active, environmentally Conscious, looking for quality products that can benefit their own health and the environment.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a serial entrepreneur and pioneer in the digital media business in Brazil, launching and leading startups funded by venture capital firms like BancBoston Capital. What motivates me is being able to create products and solutions for a more sustainable and inclusive world. I got passionate about how Regenerative Agriculture can create a sustainable revolution in the Brazilian Amazon, being in the frontline of climate action, reducing poverty, and restoring forest territory.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Having the opportunity to inspire and influence people to make better choices in their everyday lives and take positive actions so we can create a better world together.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Learning how to trust the natural flow of the universe, letting go of control, and being comfortable with the unknown. Entrepreneurship is a journey into multiple possibilities.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Open your mind, be authentic and work with purpose. Being an entrepreneur is a road to continuous learning and developing a better version of yourself.
