What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am an artist who sells original paintings, prints, and stickers. My customers are generally art lovers themselves who are looking for fun and colorful decor.
Tell us about yourself
Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I knew I always wanted to be able to share my work with the world. Posting on social media, specifically TikTok, is what allowed my business to start getting customers. My love for art is what motivates me every day.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment would have to be just making customers happy. I love when my little community continues to support me and buy my work. It makes me so happy. Also, once, the TikTok star Madi Monroe commissioned a painting from me, and that was pretty cool.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hardest thing about being a business owner for me is continuing to stay motivated through the inconsistencies that come with having a business. Not every month is good, and it is hard to keep pushing through those months sometimes.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
My top 3 tips would be to prioritize marketing, network as much as you can, and know that everything takes time.
