What's your business, and who are your customers?
ALL IN Productions is a Video Production Company based out of Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). We make unique and high-quality videos for businesses and projects all over Canada, helping them tell their story and reach their unique goals in creative ways through video strategies. Our customers are small to medium-sized businesses and organizations who are looking to take marketing to the next level and use the power of video to grow and reach a big audience.
Tell us about yourself
I started the business after moving to Canada. I lived most of my life in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I have always been passionate about creating. With people in technical, artistic, and interpersonal fields. From starting my own t-shirt brand at age 18, launching an online kayak business, getting a marketing degree, working in the fashion industry, and later as a psychotherapist (DK), to composing and producing my own music and videos for many years. All of it has led me to ALL IN Productions which has truly become my calling! My inner clarity is my motivation, which makes me passionate and happy getting up every day to work for and on my business.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Made it Top 10 in an international competition for videographers on making the best local business video. Except for that, my biggest accomplishments are really all about having satisfied and impressed clients - successful collaborations.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Finding balance in your life with work, time off, family, and friends. Remember to take time off and be structured about your valuable time.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find clarity, purpose, and meaning in your life first. Work can't give you that.
- Be persistent and go ALL IN what you do!
- Open all doors - change your mindset and get out of all comfort zones.
