What's your business, and who are your customers?

Life Transition Coaching for "executives & entrepreneurs" who want to transition into a second career or start their own business. I also provide lifestyle and business coaching for "executives & entrepreneurs" going through life transitions like divorce or empty nesters. I help you bring peace and understanding to your life, RECLAIM YOUR LIFE and enjoy healthy, happy, and peaceful relationships with yourself and others. It's your time. Make it count. Going from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a serial entrepreneur, and I've worked in the medical and mental health field for over 30 years. I've always had a passion for helping people overcome their emotional blocks. After I retired from the medical field, I saw myself going through a life transition, a new career, divorced, and an empty nester. I felt lost—and, of course, that's when I started looking into wellness and mindfulness.

I became a Neuro-Linguistic Programing Practitioner, Addiction Coach, Hypnotherapist, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and author. And while doing all this work in the healing space, I was still looking for something that would fulfill my emptiness. At this point, I thought I could help women just like me who are going through their second chapter of life. That's why I started a coaching service specifically to support women entrepreneurs/CEOs who want to improve their confidence due to low self-esteem, Imposter Syndrome or generational shaming, or struggles in personal or professional relationships.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have accomplished a few things in my entrepreneurial life, specifically with this business. I've developed a 360 mindset coaching program for women executives and entrepreneurs to find their voice and excel in their careers.

Another of my biggest accomplishments and most memorable has been to co-author a book with Les Brown, one of the world's most renowned motivational speakers, and two of his children. And I am the co-creator of The Need-Based Method®, a proven methodology that was developed after conducting 12,000 interviews with individuals who were suffering from trauma, neglect, and addiction.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

I understand what it's like to have a passion, vision, and belief in yourself. I also know how difficult it can be to stay focused and positive when you're going through tough times. You have your ups and downs, triumphs and defeats. My goal is to help you get up and move forward without losing your self-worth. Entrepreneurship is like a roller coaster ride, part of the ride is fun, and the other part is suspenseful. I've come across self-doubt, negative comments, and losing friends and family members while trusting that I knew how to represent my business and the clients that I serve.

My sessions are designed to help you with all aspects of being an entrepreneur or executive leader, including mindset coaching, business growth strategies & development for both yourself personally as well as professionally. Tips on how to find the balance between work life and home life identifying your strengths & weaknesses, finding ways how to grow personally, and learning how to create win-win situations for everyone involved in your team/family/business relationships (including yourself).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

There are three tips that I would give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today:

  1. If you have a dream, start now. Start with what you know and build from there. Don't let fear hold you back, don't let uncertainty slow you down. If you have the passion and drive that it takes to start a business, then make the leap and go for it! Business growth starts with personal growth - There is no limit to personal growth.
  2. Surround yourself with people that are in the same field that have more knowledge and success than you are aiming for. Be the small fish in the big pond. (Best advice that was given to me.)
  3. Research, research, research. I cannot emphasize it enough. Knowledge is power.
