What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Business Mindset Coach. I work with small business owners to overcome internal obstacles to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Tell us about yourself
A little back story… Around the age of twelve, I became severely depressed. Like many children, my environment was toxic. I lacked self-worth and became self-destructive, resorting to alcohol to self-medicate and battling suicidal feelings. As anyone would have guessed, these dysfunctional patterns continued into my adult life. I was a highly sensitive individual and did not have strong positive influences in my life to show me that life could be any different. I was negative – bouncing back and forth from anger to depression. The emotional pain was very real to me. And while my story is not uncommon, I felt incredibly alone.
For many years I was so self-conscious I would not allow people to take photos of me. If you had told me then that I would be where I am today, I would have told you that you are out of your mind. Yet, here I am — an author and public speaker. I've been interviewed on numerous radio shows going out to tens of thousands of people; I even spent two seasons as an expert panelist on a TV show. Things I simply could not have done, even if I wanted to, in the past because of my lack of confidence.
How does that happen? How does someone who struggled with alcoholism, major depression, and significant self-esteem issues help thousands of people break free from their inner conflicts to achieve phenomenal success in life and business?
In 2005 I was assaulted; it was a terrifying and emotionally devastating experience — but it was the catalyst for me to transform my life. I reached a point when I had two options, either the fear and the trauma would kill me, or I was going to find a cure. I chose to find a cure.
And that was the turning point. My commitment to finding relief from the pain I was experiencing led me to Hypnotherapy, EFT, and Energy Healing. The results were so profound that I made it my life's work to learn, refine and implement these and other modalities into a process I now use to help my clients.
Additionally, like a muscle, I began to embrace and utilize my natural intuitive capabilities to identify my client's subconscious and energetic blocks. Enabling me to help shift them quickly using a variety of techniques that I have become highly proficient at over the years.
My daily motivation is that I absolutely love what I do.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is the results my clients get from our work together. I get to see them experience life-changing breakthroughs and continuously uplevel their lives and businesses. The tangible results I consistently witness are extremely rewarding and validate that I am on the right path.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I believe that one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is staying positive despite setbacks and obstacles. Business and life are not always easy, plus the mind usually defaults to fear and doubt when faced with adversity which can make things more challenging than they need to be.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Stay consistent, even if it looks like nothing is happening.
- Keep learning, growing, and improving yourself and your business to provide a better product or service.
- Always do your inner work (mindset work) to increase your happiness and have a positive impact on others.
