What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a Financial Impact Coach who teaches small business owners how to increase their annual revenue and profit without spending more money on ads, social media, and other marketing. Additionally, I am a Licensed Financial Professional in 10 states focused on providing foundational education about how money works...things we all should have learned in high school!
Tell us about yourself
I am a US Navy Veteran, holding two Associate Degrees from Laney College in Oakland, California, and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During and after college, I was a small business owner in Northern California. I later joined Ford Motor Company, serving in various global IT leadership roles before taking early retirement in 2018.
I have been married for over 36 years to my wife, Ginger. We have three adult children and one grandson. I am a small business financial impact coach, an independent financial professional, and a published author. My mission and passion are to work with small to medium business owners and CEOs to teach, coach, and guide the creation of implementation plans in business areas PROVEN to impact annual revenue and profit.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping other business owners succeed and helping people get their financial house in order.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Doing everything required to run a business!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Owning a business is VERY different from being an employee, so be sure you understand the differences. IT IS NOT EASY!
- Learn from others who have succeeded in what you wish to accomplish.
- MANY new skills and talents are needed for any business owner so make sure you understand what you need to learn to be successful.
