What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am the owner and sole proprietor of Akashic Crystal Healing, full-service spiritual guidance and coaching business. I have been reading for and assisting clients to their best versions of themselves for over six years and provide the highest level of support while instilling self-confidence and empowerment. My clients are found all over the world, range in age from 16-73, hold various professional positions (from students to medical surgeons), and are regular subscribers to my services for years. Most new clientele comes from referrals, and that is the best compliment a business owner can receive.

Tell us about yourself

The Akashic Records found me in 2015, and I have been following this soul purpose ever since. My offerings continue to expand as I do, and my desire to serve others in their growth is my main drive. The most fulfilling aspect of what I do is witnessing the expansion and journey of my clients as we work together to bring their best life into reality. I am the biggest cheerleader and am motivated by their wins, no matter how big or small. We celebrate everything here.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to work from anywhere is crucial to my personal success as a single mom. I have moved to 2 different countries in the last three years and haven’t missed a single step in my business or a single moment in my children’s life. I am so proud of having such a loyal client base that follows me around the world through the time changes and scheduling differences. It’s the biggest flex to know that the work I do is so valued by everyone who has ever experienced what my offerings can do.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The biggest challenges come in the beginning when you are just starting out, especially if you face resistance from your friends and family who don’t understand your vision. Believing in yourself is the most important thing you can do to ensure your desired outcome. There is a phrase I heard once that has always stuck with me: you either succeed, or you quit. And there is no shame in quitting if that is what you choose to do. But if you never quit, then success is the only other option.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Get clear on what you want. Decide what you’re going to pursue based on if it lights you up. Don’t do anything based on what others (or even yourself) think you SHOULD do. Always follow your passion.
  2. Watch how you talk to yourself as you build and pursue your business. Thoughts are things. They shape your reality. Never allow yourself to be your biggest hater. You’ll have enough of those already. Be your biggest supporter. Believe in yourself even if no one else does.
  3. Don’t quit. Succeed. No matter what. No matter how long. You are in competition with no one and no timeline. Not even yours.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

You can have and be anything you want in life. There are no limits to what you can accomplish. If you want it, you get to have it. You just have to clear out the blocks you and others have placed in the way. It requires dedication, commitment, and consistency, but it is worth everything.
