Tell us about yourself

I am Janice Taylor, the CEO, and founder of AH-HA Healing Inc. As a tech founder and entrepreneur, and mental health and online safety advocate, I am driven by my credo of kindness, acceptance, and genuine compassion for others. This is the vision that guides my entrepreneurial enterprises.

Over the last 25 years, I have studied and developed an innovative approach to healing from early trauma pain points. This practice has been perfected through working with thousands of clients, helping them to transform their pain into purpose.

Throughout my tech career, I have worked with some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment, and music, solving problems related to digital safety and economic equality for artists and creatives. My expertise extends from AI technology to blockchain and cryptocurrency, and I have invented category-changing technology platforms that address injustice and emotional pain. With AH-HA Healing, I am returning to my roots as a healer and providing world-class healing centers for people to rediscover their true selves.

I have been recognized for my work as a community advocate and was awarded the title of Honorary Captain of the Royal Canadian Navy, among other honors, from the Consulate of Canada, where I was named one of 12 Tech Women in Canada. After launching my first company, I was selected as one of Oprah's Ultimate Viewers, which took me on a life-changing trip to Australia with Oprah Winfrey.

Growing up in Saskatchewan, Canada, gave me strong community values, which I bring to both the tech industry and my healing modality through my work in Canada and Silicon Valley. As an entrepreneur and mother of two, my mission is to awaken people with love by decoding their pain into purpose. I believe that all human beings have a unique story to tell and an AH-HA waiting to be birthed.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner has been to step out and let others bring the AH-HA Healing modality to life as well. Starting the first cohort training of AH-HA Healers in January 2023, along with opening the first physical AH-HA Healing location in Kelowna, Canada.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Juggling everything can become overwhelming at times. Along with financial management and keeping employees motivated, and avoiding burnout.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Welcome change, be able to adapt, and believe in yourself.
