What's your business, and who are your customers?

Agogo Active has created silver fiber (no-stink), blister-resistant, moisture-wicking socks for men and women. Agogo anti-stink socks have been designed with superior comfort and functionality for active lifestyles. Employing silver fiber anti-stink technology, Agogo socks will virtually eliminate odors caused by bacteria. Your feet will be kept nice and dry by the wicking action of the CoolMax yarn and will delight in the cushiony comfort of the sole material. The yarn is woven, creating a deep heel pocket and "Y" stitched seam that prevents the sock from sliding down. A blister tab at the back helps to prevent chafing at the ankle's pivot point. A specially designed band around the arch helps to maintain the support of the natural arch of your foot. The top of the sock is woven with a thinner nylon yarn to prevent bulkiness. The toe box is constructed with a hand-linked toe seam that reduces friction and minimizes blisters and chafing. Tell us about yourself

I was very excited to bring these socks to the masses. I've worn a lot of different socks in my life and was never able to find the perfect pair. They would pinch my toes, I would get blisters after a full day's wear, or they were either too thick or too thin to fit into my running shoes comfortably. I knew there had to be a better option, and that's when Agogo Active was created. We have received an astounding response, and we hope to continue to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

As a business owner, my biggest accomplishment has been the ability to create a product that improves people's lives and build a company that allows our family to work together. Agogo's mission is to not only provide comfort where it's needed but encourage our customers to live an active, healthy lifestyle.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that come with being a business owner is finding the right team. I strive to build a reliable team with like-minded individuals that have the same vision of wanting to better the lives of our customers.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

My first tip would be to just do it. You never know what will come of something until you try. Next, is to network! You never know who you will meet that can help you out tremendously. Third, surround yourself with the right people. The right people will help you go far.

Always be grateful and appreciative of your outcomes...even if it's not what you expected or wanted. Something of value will come from each experience.
