What's your business, and who are your customers?

Adi's Language School is an MA-certified Women's Business Enterprise that works with individuals, local and state organizations, and other businesses to assist with English, Citizenship, and other Language Classes, as well as Translations and Interpreting.

Tell us about yourself

I always genuinely loved languages and other cultures and was a language teacher for many years, mostly in the public sector. The idea of starting my own school had been lingering in my head for some time, waiting for the right moment to materialize. One day, that moment came, and it has been so great ever since. I enjoy working with students and staff every day; I welcome challenges and especially the new knowledge that comes with them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Successfully collaborating with local and state organizations, as well as other businesses, is my biggest accomplishment so far.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finding the right people to work with and inherently keeping the customers happy.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  2. Only get what you really need.
  3. Offer your best services and communication every single time.
