Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in marketing but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Peter Abraham, President of Abraham Studio, located in Woodland Hills, CA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
Abraham Studio is a marketing agency based in Los Angeles. I work with brands in sports, technology, and healthcare, from strategy to content creation. Every project is different, but I love to help growing brands find their voice and create effective storytelling that builds a community.
Tell us about yourself
I produced tv commercials and documentary films for 20 years before moving into sports marketing at the Los Angeles Marathon. My own mission is to create positive change with my work, and that's what informs which clients to take on.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Finding joy in my work, even when things get hard.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
I'm an entrepreneur at heart, which brings both upsides and downsides. The mountains and valleys that come with owning a business can be super challenging. It's never a smooth ride, but I still love the process of doing my own thing.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Build your business on the foundation of an inspiring mission.
- Find and keep great talent.
- Make sure you have enough cash in the bank to weather the rough patches.
