What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am the owner of ABIDING HERE COACHING & CONSULTING CO., and our customers are youth and young adults who desire to level up their life, career, or business.

Tell us about yourself

After launching my nonprofit EL’LESUN back in 2019, I noticed that there were so many people wanting direction on how to begin and structure their business or idea. I was also a mentor during that time and really desired to expand how I served those within my community. I am motivated each day to do this work because it’s an honor to see people come alive in what they love to do.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

In this season, my biggest accomplishment as a business owner is how I show up for myself and those I serve. Life happens, and sometimes, as business owners, we aren’t always motivated, but showing up makes a huge difference.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is pushing through the slow days. I had to quickly learn that every day will not be the same.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

The top 3 tips that I would give anyone looking to start, run, and grow their business are:

  1. Ask for help.
  2. Take your time.
  3. Learn as much as you can.
