What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are an Ayurvedic-inspired organic skincare brand. We offer a two-step skincare system that is made to enhance your skincare routine. Or help you establish a simple skincare routine. We seek to help women of all skin types and are conscious about ingredients, and want to address skin concerns such as dry and dull complexion.
Tell us about yourself
A few years ago, I was unhappy with how my skin looked and felt—frustrated that I saw no results in my skin health with high-end and drug store brands. I decided to connect with my Indian roots and found a solution to my skincare problems. My motivation comes from helping women like myself rediscover their inner glow and self-confidence.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Helping hundreds of women improve their inner beauty, skin health, and self-confidence. While donating part of the proceeds to help empower black and brown women in the global south.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Financial challenges, specifically during the pandemic. Being a full-time entrepreneur while juggling a full-time job.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
There is no perfect time to start a business. People wait to have the perfect timing or business plan to get started. My advice is to just start.
