Tell us about yourself and your journey to where you are today...
I had no business background, I decided to embark on a career change course three years ago after being a full time mum and wife. I trained with Georgia Miles at The Sussex flower school. My first Big wedding was in Australia for my niece , that in its self was a huge challenge, sourcing flowers, not seeing the venue in person many sleepless nights… but it was a great success and my confidence grew. Word of mouth is very much how my little business has grown, my instagram page has been a great platform. My Christmas wreath workshops are very popular and I have now started growing flowers in raised cutting beds so next year I can add work shops for flower arranging and hand tie classes .
What motivates you each day?
I love the process of designing an arrangement, it’s very satisfying when your client says I love it!
What is the hardest thing that comes with being a business owner?
Paperwork! I am dyslexic, so I find this side of the business hard.
What are the tactics you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance?
I do not take on more jobs then I have time to do.
Where can people find you online?
On instagram!
