What's your business, and who are your customers?
I save the world. One overwhelmed and highly passionate difference-maker at a time. My business is supporting people in making more money and impacting every aspect of their lives.
Tell us about yourself
A stuntwoman turned businesswoman is the best way to start a biography. After being diagnosed with a heart condition at an early age and depending on a service dog for a higher quality of life, I focus on using each day to fully deliver our purpose within the world. I founded my company, A Better Place Consulting, to empower and educate businesses and organizations about the impact of work-life alignment and mental health at work.
I enjoy breaking the codependency between professionals and their companies, a.k.a. business therapy. I want to teach law enforcement, military, and correctional officers burnout prevention. I am a third-generation entrepreneur, an international speaker, a retired therapist, a surfer, an Army wife, and a cowgirl who speaks four languages. I am proud of my incredible family of two amazing daughters and my sexy, supportive husband.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I work 4 hours a month, spend the rest of the time with my family, and build a team that loves what they do and is insanely good at it.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Getting out of your way.

Hire professionals, invest in support, and surround yourself with like-minded communities to reduce your learning curve and keep you sane.
