What's your business, and who are your customers?
I created a brand of strip lashes inspired by my hometown Toronto. My customers are females that love makeup just as much as I do!
Tell us about yourself
One day I was sitting and thinking to myself that I wanted to create something of my own. I brainstormed and came up with the idea to start my own strip lash brand. After deciding what I wanted to do, everything else came naturally. I love the city I'm from (Toronto), and I wanted to base my brand on the city itself.
What motivates me every day is the fact that my brand is so unique; I love the reactions I get when new people hear about my brand!! I love making my customers feel beautiful when they wear my lashes!
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is that I was able to do everything on my own! I built my Instagram, my website, and my brand by myself. The only thing I didn't do on my own was my logo!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things I would say is when people try to negotiate your prices with you.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Find something you are passionate about.
- Be creative; at the end of the day, it is your brand!
- DO IT!!!!!

Follow any dreams you have, no matter how big or small it is. You can achieve anything you put your mind to!
