What's your business, and who are your customers?
Three Stories Consulting uses restorative approaches to create facile and cohesive environments that can solve complex problems and take on new challenges to move beyond the status quo. Recognizing the individual story, the others' story, and the whole story, 3 Stories Consulting moves groups into, through, and forward on issues.
Our team members have worked across various industries in corporate, non-profit, government, community groups, law enforcement, sports, school, youth, and university settings. Whether addressing conflict or creative solutions to more significant issues, 3 Stories Consulting guides people back to their humanity to move forward.
Tell us about yourself
I inspire individuals, agencies, and audiences of all sizes to reach for connection, compassion, and action. Skilled in community building, program and organizational development, conflict resolution, and culture change, I bring versatility and an improvisational flair to my work. I hold the restorative values of relationship, respect, responsibility, and reciprocity as my guiding light.
Through my consulting, pieces of training, and facilitation, I weave the threads of individual stories, collective impact, and shared vision. Through my decades of improvisational theater work with Playback Theatre West and more recently with Motus Theater's Power Playback, I create a "yes and" approach that moves people toward change and a sense of collaborative progress. My capacity to listen deeply to the needs of those I work with generates a sense of safety that supports common ground and resolution.
In 2013, when I left my work as Executive Director of the Longmont Community Justice Partnership, I started 3 Stories Consulting. Very shortly after that, I was hired by the Colorado State Court Administrator's Office to initiate the first State Restorative Justice Coordinator position in the country. Last year, after leaving the state, I resumed my work as a consultant, bringing an even broader experience to bear.
Every day, I believe in the power of relationships, rooted in respect for all beings, and that by taking responsibility for our actions and their impact, we can repair harm, great and small. The notion of reciprocity and the fact that we are all connected keep me returning to restorative and transformative approaches.

- Don't give up. Listen deeply to what is your most accurate calling. Follow that wisdom.
